My recent visit to the Astoria hotel in Fiera di Primiero was nothing short of a culinary delight. As an art historian with a penchant for exquisite cuisine, my expectations were surpassed at La Caffetteria, the on-site restaurant offering a symphony of flavors. The bar/lounge, reminiscent of cozy corners in New York, exuded an inviting charm that beckoned me to unwind with a glass of fine wine.Venturing just a stone's throw away, I stumbled upon Ristorante Albergo Conca Verde, a hidden gem with a tantalizing menu showcasing the region's gastronomic prowess. The proximity to Gelateria Artigianale Simion meant indulging in authentic gelato was a must-do, reminiscent of my lingering days in the Italian countryside.Although I yearned for a wider selection of local cheeses and hams during breakfast, the culinary experience overall left a lasting impression.
